Also this is for only years 2001 - 2004.
The hybrid did not come out until 2005.

Given that the recal is corrosion related, do you think it will expand as the 2005s and newer age?

I believe the problem is due to corrosion of connectors. My guess is that the newer models used different connectors and thats why they aren't being recalled.
