Normal operating temps
I have a 2006 2wd escape hybrid and just got a scanguage. Does anyone know the normal operating temps for transmission fluid(TFT), water temp(FWT), cylinder head temp(CHT), and continuous transmission temp(CVT)? I am hauling a uhaul trailer 2000 miles and want to keep an eye on things. At what temps should I get concerned?

Look at the "sticky" thread (https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...ository-16100/)
for some information.

Re: Normal operating temps
Since the eCVT is attached to the engine, it closely matches engine (water) temperature.
Also monitor your generator and traction motor temperature whe towing.
Have no fear, they are allowed to be over 300 degrees, and I often see mine hit 270 when towing.

Re: Normal operating temps
I see the coding for generator coil temp but can't find coding for traction motor temp. Am I looking at the wrong things? Has anyone figured out xguage code for oil pressure on the ford escape?
