The ones at the top of the rear are for child restraints.

Thanks. That seems like an odd place for tethers for child seats.

I thought so too, but after googling a bit, I found out that is part of the LATCH system: "Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children"

The top tether keeps the child seat from moving forward.

OK, child SEAT restraints! I recommend duct tape for child restraints.

On mine, I have a fourth hook in the rear. It is to hang up a suit, or something, I guess. It is located on the far passenger side, just above the rear most side window.

I don't know if they all have this. Possibly it is because I have the side airbags which eliminates the rear assist handles?

Possible, sounds like my '06. LOL, I didn't realize that was for latch, I thought it was hanger slot.

Yes, the one on the passenger side is a clothes hanger.
I wish there was one on BOTH sides so I could put a pole across and have room for about 25 hangers. But I guess, due to the battery air vent, you one get one.
