Default FEH TRAILER HITCH

I was checking eBay and found a hitch for the FEH for "Buy it Now" for $130.00. They say it is for all 2005 Escapes and FEH. For those who have installed a hitch on the FEH, please take a look and comment on what your opinion is on this item. It sounds like a good deal if it works. Go to eBay and search "escape hybrid" to take a look.

Thanks

It looks legit. It has both side mounts and a flat mount but I cannot tell at what place it spans or sits in front of, or behind the coolant lines. It is a Draw-Tite Product, #75281, and their website does say it fits the 2005 Escape Hybrid. Draw-Tite wants $155.50 plus shipping and 8% Tax in NY.

Gary,
I wouldn't bet the farm on it.....but it looks good to me as well. The side mounts(all 3 mounts appear to be on the side of the frame rail--not bottom)...look like they line up behind the coolant lines.(towards the rear bumper)

I installed a Hidden hitch that uses two side holes and one bottom hole. I believe this hitch uses those same two side holes and an additional side hole.

I hope this helps. I loaded a picture of my hitch in the photos for you to give you some idea. Again...not exactly the same....but the "side" mounts should be close.

Nate

What wiring harness did you use with the hitch?? Did you use the Ford wiring harness or did you get an aftermarket wiring harness? If so could you tell me which one that you used.

Thanks,
Daryl
