Bluetooth?

Bluetooth?
I'm a little confused ... I read in the owners manual that, when I press the "Phone" button on the Energy/Radio/NAV unit, and a phone is not present the radio or CD will be mutted.
The owners manual does not say what would happen if a phone was present.
The salesman I dealt with indicated that it could be used with a bluetooth enabled phone.
The problem is, I can't find any reference to bluetooth in the owners manual or even on the web.
Most hands free systems that are used with bluetooth have some way to make the system 'discoverable' ... but I can't figure out any way to do this.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
david

The '07 Ford NAV radio has a control signal, and phone audio input, for an external phone interface, though Ford itself doesn't sell such a unit. It can work with either a direct plug-in interface, or a Bluetooth interface.
