Any idea what to buy an online warranty for a ford Escape Hybrid? I purchased my Honda one from Saccucci Honda for $695.00 3 years ago for $695.00 for 5 year/100000K. Any help would be great.

 

I just did a bunch of research for my FEH in the past few days. The cheapest I found was through fordfactoryplans.com. It was $1200 for the best Premium Care warranty for 4 years / 48k miles (on top of existing miles and time). My Escape is AWD which probably adds some cost. My 07 is outside of the 3/36 warranty so it probably costs more because of that too.

My dealer was able to match it.

So there you are! One of the sites above had the option to add "better" rental car coverage. I guess so they don't stick you in a tin can with ONLY an AM radio. Hope this helps. P.S. I Googled to find all the above.

 

I've never been much of an extended warranty guy, but $20 per month is a small price to pay to not have any out of pocket costs (other than $100 deduct) for repairs over the next several years.

I think the FEH is great and very reliable, but it is a pretty high tech piece. I sleep better at night now!

 

You are going to love this. myfordwarranty.com is serviced by Saccucci (I guess they have a Ford dealership). Or at least my email indicated saccucci. com as the return address when I ordered mine last fall.

I paid about 1900, but that is 7 years, 100K, zero deductible, and rental car. I considered the cheaper plans, but decided to go with the zero deductible instead.

The FEH has so much technology in it, and I've already had the blend door replaced under the factory warranty - twice.
