Hopefully a quick question: should I strictly use Motorcraft or can I use virtually any other DOT3 brake fluid? I'm preparing to do a flush of the old yellow fluid, replace the old flex hoses, and do pads, etc. I've never done a brake job on any car before and want to do things right the first time.
Got a copy of the Workshop Manual which says to use "High Performance DOT3 motor vehicle brake fluid - PM1C (Specification WSS-M6C62-A)"
