Default Adding a sub and amp?

I am adding a sub and amp to my friends 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid and half did / half didn't forget about the whole Hybrid aspect of the electrical system. I got this sub
Amazon.com : Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 Punch P3 DVC 2 Ohm 12-Inch 600 Watts RMS 1200 Watts Peak Subwoofer : Vehicle Subwoofers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 Punch P3 DVC 2 Ohm 12-Inch 600 Watts RMS 1200 Watts Peak Subwoofer : Vehicle Subwoofers : Car Electronics
and this amp
Amazon.com : Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime 1-Channel Class D Amplifier : Vehicle Mono Subwoofer Amplifiers : Car Electronics Amazon.com : Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime 1-Channel Class D Amplifier : Vehicle Mono Subwoofer Amplifiers : Car Electronics
Should I run into any issues running the combination? Should I look into maybe purchasing a second battery and an Amp Relay Isolator?

I put in a 600rms sub and it runs perfectly fine. Still even goes into hybrid mode as well.

This won't help with your 2006 model, but the 2008 and later models have an area in the right rear cargo area designed for the Audiophile sound system; I think it has the bass speaker. But in any case it is an area that would be empty if the model didn't have audiophile.

The DC/DC can pump out over 1,300 watts, so a good BatCap to be safe and a Amp rated for 1,000 or less and everything should be ok.

Little bit of a zombie thread, but it's worth mentioning that my 2006 FEH has the right rear cargo area with a little sub installed in it, similar to what you are describing.

I bought it used (with an aftermarket deck), so no clue if it is the Audiophile system or not.

Either way, 2006's do have that spot for a little sub, or at least the ability to swap in the parts from a newer car (in the event that the previous owners did that in my scenario-- I honestly don't know).
