The Tour de Sol- a alternate power tech car show/tour is doing a mpG ralley for the first time this year. The show is finishing in Saratoga. NY and they are inviting hybrid owners of stock vehicles to compete in a mpg competition.

drivers are invited to start from sponsored locations all over the eastern 1/2 of the country and finish at saratoga.

when I told my husband about it at dinner, he gave me that look: you know, the 'oh no, not another rabid hybrid-drive slow thing' and both my daughters rolled their eyes.
turns out I can't go that weekend anyway- both kids have their music solo festival.
just when I was going to get out the topo maps and plan out a route!
oh well- keep us posted if anyone participates!
