Volkswagen L1 Diesel Hybrid
At the Frankfurt Auto Show, Volkswagen rolled out a 2 seater car they say is the most fuel efficient hybrid in the world:

VW has said that their new L1 diesel is the most efficient cars so we are going to have the most useful car in the near future .If the improve on its looks theirs nothing stopping them from going above Prius .

VW presented most fuel efficient car nobody can deny about this efficiency. I have heard that it was the first car who ran 50 km on just 2 liters of fuel.
