Default epa rating of 20/22 mpg!

not bad considering they didn't go nuts with the efficiency changes like gm did with the hood, no power lift gate, and roof racks.

but isn't this typical of the american car makers...

Customer won't buy what we make, so we'll stop making what they'll buy.

gotta love it!

Copies of this post will serve as a place holders to remove the spammers from the contents page. If they bother anyone I'll delete them after the threads resume normal activity.

To be fair, Chrysler closed a plant that made many version of these vehicles including the hybrids AND the sales numbers of the hybrids obviously did not warrant enough attention to keep this or any other plant available to build them. As retooling costs quite a bit, it makes sense tthat they would juts consider putting hybrid tech into their Dodge ram best selling trucks as an optional version.

And yes, ultimately, we, the American public need to buy more hybrids or alternative fuel vehicles before these companies will listen.
