I posted this on another volt forum but participation rate seems not the high, so decided to put here:

i havent noticed that it has no bike hitch in the behind although salesman told me there is a hitch size of 1 1/4. Unless he told me a lie, I only see a white square light in the place of hitch. IS there any way to install bike rack in the behind? Has anyone installed hitch mounted rack? I know there are other options available such as roof rack, trunk mounted but I'd really like to install the hitch mounted rack. Thanks.,

body pan? what is it?
there are also frame, i can understand this is vehicle frame.
But there is another person who mentioned trunk pan

 

i got it installed and it is working great. There were some minor difficulty unexpected issues but largely it went smoothly. I am glad, I did not hit a well with frustration. (common with this type of work). Installation took about 3hr since I did it in the middle of night with limited lighting with no jacks or any other means to raise the vehicle.
