Everrati’s All-Electric Porsche 911 is a Future-Proof ClassicWhile most automobile manufacturers are working on electrifying their future models, British start-up Everrati is working backwards…to the electric future.

British company Everrati has made quite a name for itself building electric versions of classic cars like the Mercedes SL and Land Rover Defender. The company recently unveiled a widebody 964-gen Porsche 911 restomod, which features an all-electric powertrain. This gorgeous sports car can be yours for about $235,537 (€200,000) and a donor 911.

The British outfit claims that its battery-powered 911 offers impressive handling, weight, and accuracy. Everrati also gives the original engine back to the owner in a case. The all-electric Porsche 911 is powered by a 53 kWh battery and its drivetrain was sourced from a Tesla Model S. In its most capable spec the all-electric 964-gen 911’s powertrain produces 500 BHP of maximum power that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in under four seconds.

In addition to the Tesla-sourced powertrain, Everrati’s creations also get a plethora of state-of-the-art upgrades, and the attention to detail throughout the ensemble is exquisite. Only 80% of the batteries are located up front, and the rest are placed in the rear, to maintain the original weight distribution. Fully charged, the long-range Pure variant of Everrati 911 will deliver over 180 miles of range, whereas the high-performance Signature model only delivers about 150 miles of range and with its DC fast-charging capability, the pack can be recharged from 0 to 80% capacity in just 45 minutes.

The electric-only 911 also gets a limited-slip differential and electronically-controlled adaptive shocks that will improve the car’s handling characteristics. A set of Brembo calipers are entrusted with braking duties, and to keep the weight as low as possible, the car ditches its original roof, door, seats, and front and rear fenders for carbon fiber replacements. Customers can also opt for carbon fiber seats which are offered as optional extras.

Everrati also assures buyers that the electric modifications to the 911 and other classic cars are completely reversible. Electric conversions like Everrati’s 911 allow customers to adopt electric mobility and future-proof automotive icons.
