Electrify Expo Coming to COTA in Austin This Weekend

Electrify Expo is the largest EV festival in North America. The event will open its doors to the public between November 13 and 14.

After SEMA 2021, Electrify Expo is ready to make a splash with help from the world’s leading EV brands. The event will be held over the weekend and happens to be the largest EV festival in North America. Visitors can check out exciting electric offerings between November 13 and 14, when the festival will open its doors to the public. Austin’s famous Circuit of Americas (COTA) sports facility is the venue for Electrify Expo.

The upcoming event will use over half a million square feet of display space to showcase electric vehicles and e-mobility products. The event will also offer a grand EV-centric platform for some of the world’s leading car brands. The exhibition will feature offerings from several legacy automakers, including Hyundai, Volkswagen, Volvo, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and many others. Furthermore, visitors can also test-drive different electric cars on riveting demo courses throughout the weekend.

Founder and Executive Producer of Electrify Expo, BJ Birtwell shared his thoughts on the event. “If you’ve been looking for a chance to hop in an electric vehicle for the first time, or hop on an e-bike, e-scooter, or e-skateboard, Electrify Expo is the place to be,” says Birtwell. He further adds, “This event comes to Austin just once a year and is the best opportunity to demo all kinds of electric vehicles on multiple courses.”

Circuit of the Americas has been the battleground for many exciting races over the years. Thanks to Electrify Expo, the sports facility will now also become an e-mobility powerhouse. Visitors can attend the festival between 10 am and 5 pm during public days. Attendees do not need tickets for kids under the age of 5, and regular ticket prices start at $20. Visitors can also purchase VIP tickets online and skip the lines using the event’s official website. Tickets will also be available at the box office onsite.

“Austin is already a hub for the growing EV market, with massive industrial efforts that are focused on bringing electrification to the masses. The people of Austin have a high curiosity for EVs which might make this event our largest all year. Bringing Electrify Expo to COTA is an opportunity for the region to experience the best in e-mobility all in one weekend,” says Birtwell.
