New Larger Prius Announced/Confirmed for 2010
 

Ok, so I've read a little bit of a teaser article here about the upcoming larger Prius. It doesn't seem to have a name yet, unless they are just going to use the name Prius as a sub-brand.

Does anyone know what it will look like? I wish they'd make a slick sedan, I'd rather have a handsome car than an egg like shape (I know the shape reduces drag but I would sacrifice a little mpg for a conventional look)

Does anyone have a link to share of the new Prius with pics or drawings?

It will but great to have new large Prius but what about its fuel efficiency will it meet its standards ..If you are naming it prius then make sure it has the some what same fuel efficiency..

Yeah, unfortunately, Toyota is stating that it just averages 40 mpg instead of 50. I'm not sure why, since it shouldn't be that much heavier and uses the same drivetrain. It could be that it does better than this. Will have to wait for official results from EPA and groups like Consumer Reports real world testing.
