Battery remanufacturers
 

We have a First Gen Prius that needs a new hybrid battery -- but probably not 100,000 miles worth. Several companies/sites offer remanufactured batteries at reasonable prices -- but it's hard to know what the company rep is -- what's true and what's puff.

Anyone have experience with Greenauto (various locations) or Prius Rebuilders (Ridgefield NJ) or anyone else they can recommend?

They use the same batteries as the Insight and Civic Gen 1 IIRC.
So contact one of those suppliers for a set of sticks.
