2007 Camry Hybrid ABS pump model number
 

Hello All,

The Toyota TSBs from 2014 dealing with ABS pump replacement refer to the below supersessions:

44050-30660 replacing 44050-30300
04003-44830 replacing 44050-30660

I am seeing both 44050-30660 and 04003-44830 still being sold by Toyota dealerships for ~$1000. Wondering what the difference is between the two.

Just an update on this. The Toyota TSB notes that the new part 44050-30660 has the fix for an internal leak that causes the ABS pump issue. I found from other posts on this forum and other sources online that while the latest part number on the box is 44050-30660, the inside part has been reported to have part number 44510-30290. So, I got a used part 44510-30290 from ebay and installed it myself and had a brake flush performed at the lodal Toyota dealership for $189. Brakes are working fine now. The fluid flush made the brakes better in pedal feel (took away spongyness) and operation.

How is the 44510-30290 holding up ? I have the same issue with my 2007 camry hybrid and even changed the 44510-30270 once. I have the same problem occurring again and don't want to get the same part. Would you recommend I get the 44510-30290 or the one recommend by the dealer which is the 44050-30660 part.
