Found one here around Houston in classic silver with comfort/convenience package, leather, sunroof, extra mile option H - mud guards, carpet mats, first aid kit -, navigation, 6 mths XM satellite, rear spoiler and shield package for $3000 off MSRP. Makes it $30900. Dealer's installing tint and changing tires to Michelin Primacy at no charge. Sounds good?

I live in Austin and travelled to Fitzmall to buy mine. The "extra value" stuff is all fluff here in the Gulf States area.

If you have a couple of days to drive back, fly out to BWI and get your Hybrid from Fitzmall. They have serveral in various colors with similar equipment for about $28500 (w/o XM and mud guards). Just look at their on-line inventory. That is about $500 under invoice with no required fluff packs. Looks like they have about 16 in stock now.

Their prices are all no-haggle. I worked with John Reida (tell him Scott from Austin sent you). He was great..... met me at the airport. They sent me a signed sales order before I went out. I took a bank check for the exact amout. Did paperwork and was on my way back to TX in about 1.5 hours.
I paid the exact amount quoted on the net + about $16 for a temporary tag. I paid the sales tax when I registerd the car back here in TX.

See my earlier posts for details.

Disclaimer: I have no connection with them whatsoever other than as a satisfied customer.

........You should be able to fly out on Southwest Friday morning and be back at work Monday. Keep us posted.

Just another thought or two......
- Since you will be buying the car without a trade-in, you will pay sales tax on the full amont, regardless of where you purchase the car. As I recall (vaguely) we got some extra $ from the insurances company for that when they settled on our truck claim a few years ago.

- Also, If you have an extended warranty, you should be able to cancel that policy and get some $$$$ back.

Good Luck!

Except for a new front look, I don't see any differences from the '09. Any info if there are any differences under the hood?

The NON hybrid gets a new 4 cyl. 2.5 L 169 hp in most models and 179 in the SE. TCH engine seems unchanged. More on the 2010...Auto up/down power windows on all four doors as standard on all trims, an optional audio system for base and LE models that adds a USB port, Bluetooth, integrated satellite radio, and MP3/streaming music capability. The Camry Hybrid receives a new gauge cluster and cloth seating surfaces made of a fabric called Fraichir, a combination of silk protein and synthetic fiber. Production to start in Feb., on sale in March 2009.
