Thinking of getting a couple things....car cover and bike rack....
 

I want the car cover to help shield my air vents from falling seed pods where I park my car (they fall right down through the air intake grill at the bottom of the front windshield!

I want a quality cover with locks to keep anyone from easily swiping the cover.

And

I like bike riding and am trying to figure the best way to carry a couple bikes on the back. A tow hitch with a rack? My arms aren't strong enough to life the bikes onto the top of the car to carry them that way.

Anyone have either item and are happy with them? Where did you get them?

I have folding bike and just dump it on the folded back seat. I have car cover and never use it, just takes too much time especially that I drive every day. If leaves and other stuff like that bothers you, maybe you could go to Home Depot or similar store and buy roll of plastic bulk door/window screen, the type you would use on doors and windows to keep bugs away. Just cut it to proper size and somehow mount it to vent (even tape should work). Later, if there is too much garbage, either vacuum from top or throw away and put fresh one. I use cut outs of this mesh up front to protect radiator from bugs and rocks.

I found some decent ones from empire. This cover was a replacement cover for a custom cover that cost three times as much and started leaking water and collecting dust under the cover in less than a year. My Empire cover is 4 months old, has survived numerous strong thunderstorms and seering Texas sun, and so far is exceeding my expectations. I have 3 cars under cover, soon the other two will be covered by Empire.

I installed a trailer hitch - easy - from hiddenhitches.com. Then, I bought a Yakima tray style mount... love it
