Dave,
You might be right. When the OP replaced the tires, he never mentioned the vibration at highway speeds again so I assumed it was gone as the only thing he mentioned after that point was the "humming". Assuming can get you in trouble......
atob907, do you still have any problems at high speed highway driving (65 to 75 mph) after getting the tires replaced and the alignment done?
By the way dave, you are only about a two hours drive away. I'm right down I-24 in GA from you...

For me, my steering wheel does not flutter but i do feel vibration going throughout the body of the car. It feels like its traveling from sections of the car. I HAD GIVEN UP ON DEALERS YEARS A GO, BUT I THOUGHT A NEW CAR WOULD BE DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. I haven't driven on the highway since so i am not sure if its gone yet or not at the high speeds but i do know that its barely noticeable at 35 to 46 mph.
and get your transmission oil changed at 50000k to 700000 at least because its definitely not lifetime. here is a video i found on youtube searching for toyota world standard. I am getting ready to change my oil at 50000k so i will let you know what my fluid looks like.
