New DVD Player ....

Does anyone have the new console mounted DVD player? I have one on order. I have been waiting so long for my Red TCH, that it became available.

There is now a photo on the build your own website, but there are no details.

Where does the screen fold down to? Not in front of the rear A\C vents I hope!

Does it play through the cars speakers? Does it have wireless headphones like my Sienna?

I'm really wondering if it will also play through the Nav. screen.

Thanks for any input!

I can't remember where I read this, but I thought the factory option was going to flip up from the center console, so that it was only visible to the rear seats. It will NOT be integrated with your NAV display, no way a factory option is going to allow that. (I'm sure someone will discover an aftermarket hack to get this functioning). Because it's a factory option, I'm sure you will have the choice of using the stereo speakers or headphones.

Does anyone know how much the cost is for one of these systems?

Some dealers sell them on eBay. Prices range from $550 - $700

I think G-Net's NavVideo system integrates with NAV, or so their website says.

I don't have it, or know anyone who has it. It could very well be vaporware. But according to them, it has two video in, one for any video and one for backup video, engaging automatically when reverse is selected.

They don't have one listed for the camry though.

I think the one for Lexus works for all Toyota NAVs.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

You want to get one and let us know how it works?
