Logged battery data at 70K miles - 2014 TCH

4 Attachment(s)
Logged some data yesterday in my 2014 Camry Hybrid and was happy not to see any insane voltage differences like I saw with the old battery pack in my brother's 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid.
At around 20.7% SOC with a 6A discharge current, the block voltages varied up to 0.15V with only a couple data points of 0.85V; one just before and another immediately after the 50A current spike when starting the gas motor. I think this is because not all the block voltages were sampled at the same current draw. This leads me to believe that the internal battery module does not do simultaneous sampling of all 17 blocks since not all the block voltages go down when current increases. Then in the following line, a different sent of blocks decreases, while others stay the same.

Looks great. If you repeat the exercise form a higher SoC, you can sum the current discharged and extrapolate a pack capacity.
