Battery Cooling
 

Does anyone know how the battery in the TCH is cooled? Probably not much of an issue in many areas. Cooling is more of an issue in Arizona, Nevada and desert areas of California.

There is a vent on the back shelf that supplies cooling air to the battery. You can see the ductwork in the back of the trunk. My dealer told me that under no circumstances should I place any items over or around the vent, lest I risk damaging the battery.
