Armor All
 

Whenever I go to the car wash they want to use Armor All on the tires and on the dash. Elsewhere, I read that Armor All can cause cracking. Is there any truth to this. Armor All makes the car look nicer. Is there a downside?

All I can offer is my own experience. Two cars I used armor all on had the dash crack within a few years of using it. My F150 dash is 21 years old, never used armor all and still has no cracks.

I would not use armor all. I use 303 protectant. Much better than armor all in my opinion.
