2009 TCH Passenger Seat rattle
 

Has anyone experienced a rattling in the front passenger seat? It only happens once in a while, but is very annoying. If I adjust the back incline a bit, it seems to help for a while, but I wonder if something is loose. A tech at the dealer said it was normal, but I don't think I should spend that much on a car that is advertised as being quiet and have to put up with a rattle. Any advice, suggestions????

I had a rattle. It bugged me.

After checking it out a few times, i found that the passenger side seatbeat sometimes wound up with a half twist that had the buckle between the seat and the side of the car. It rattled. So, when i heard the rattle, i just reached over and un-twisted the belt (leaving the buckle now flat against the seat) and the rattle went away.

Hope this is your problem and the rattle problem is solved.

I second the suggestion. I had exactly the same experience over the weekend, and I noticed the same twisting in the passenger's side seat belt. Untwisted the belt, and the noise was gone.
