CarsDirect Acquires vBulletin
 

It came as a surprise for me to hear today that Internet Brands (aka CarsDirect) has acquired vBulletin, the software we've been using on GreenHybrid for years. I thought it may interest some of you as much as it does me.

Huh.... that is interesting (I've been using vBB for years... hope it continues on its present course.)

PS: What are you doing in Denmark? (Yeah, I actually look @ the "Location" line)

Studying abroad for a semester. I'm living in Copenhagen, and traveling to Russia, Sweden, the Netherlands and hopefully elsewhere while I'm here.

Internet Brands (IB) owns a variety sites such as GreenHybrid, NCTD, and Carsdirect. They recently purchased the site that I moderate, Acurazine.com.

All they do is buy growth as opposed to growing the properties they have. I suspect a number of their properties have been hit by the mortgage meltdown too...
