Odd noise shortly after shutdown

I just recently purchased an Altima Hybrid, a couple of times after shutting the car off and walking away I heard an odd uneven buzzing noise. The manual says a noise "may be heard" after shutting down the hybrid system. Does this seem normal?

Yes, totally normal. Mine has a couple buzz type noises and what sounds like Darth Vader exhaling. :shade: so yeah, not to worry.

Yeah mine too makes that noise after shutdown. It doesn't bother me at all! :-) I just got mine 2 weeks ago and after 422 miles i'm getting 39 mpg!!:D

This car is just achin' to be fully throttled! but i'm being careful during break in period.
