Energy flow display / nav screen replacement?
 

Hello all, I'm new to the forum--so I apoligize if my topic has been addressed previously (didn't notice it in past-threads). I have a 2006 MMH, the nav-screen is beginning to flicker and distort the display information at times. Past experience with these types of issues indicate a hardware problem, and I will likely have to replace the unit.

That being said, I was wondering if anyone had any information/recommendation on an updated system for the MMH. I know there are a ton of aftermarket head-units out there--my issue is, I'd like to retain the energy flow display as well. Any advise on updating my display unit to include all of the traditional ammenities (Sirius, MP3, iPod compat., etc.) AND retain the energy-flow display as well? Thanks in advance for you responses.

(FYI: I've tried to visit with my local dealership, and the Ford Hotline on this topic--had very "limited" success in getting a response)

Since you want to retain the energy-flow display, I would check online auction sites, like eBay, and see if you can find someone selling the same unit you currently have. This way you know you'll get what you want (energy-flow screen) and it should be a direct plug-in replacement.
