To manage and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions coming from our personal cars, SUVs and trucks, Mayor John W. Hickenlooper and his staff are supporting a new initiative - Driving Change™. This pilot program empowers participating Denver city employees and citizens with an innovative platform for measuring their vehicle greenhouse gas emissions, implementing greenhouse gas reduction goals, and gauging the success of these strategies. This is the first vehicular greenhouse gas platform of its type in the world and, we hope, will set a standard for cities around the world to follow.
