First Post - EV buyer
 

Hello to E.V.F.! I am a former long time hybrid driver who is going to buy a full electric or hybrid in the coming year. I make my living in database and computer security and that affects my requirements for the upcoming car.

I do not want a car filled with the newest, most complicated electronic gadgetry. Past experience has shown me these 'features' are typically very trouble laden. I want a basic, dependable electric/hybrid car with a minimum of a realistic 250 mile range in normal (40 to 90 degree F) temperatures.

I'm interested in suggestions and experiences with the models that are out there from owners.
