MPG glitch a 63 miles

:embarass:
Just got back from Sterling Honda in Longview Washington with Lisa's 06
Civic Hybrid. Car has 9,500 miles on it and was built in 09/05.

We took it in for an oil change, 0x20 Mobil one, and the MPG guage glitch
at 63 miles or so.

They said Honda is aware of the problem but have no solution to the problem but are working on it.

I wonder if the newer 06 Civics built later in the build year have the same
problem?

Average mpg by filling the tank method ,of course, has been 50.5 MPG.

Not bad for winter weather in N/W Oregon.

Re: MPG glitch a 63 miles

I know that there is a rather long thread somewhere on this board (think the title is something like "Civic gets 90 MPG?!") that a number of us have reported that our cars also have the bug. Mine was #6350 and is affected. Not sure when it was built - but it was on my dealer's lot in December 2005. I've heard the same story - but I'm not sure how "HARD" they are working on fixing it.... Time will tell I guess.
