LA Area Parking Still Free?
I was wondering if anyone knew if Hybrids w/ stickers still get to park at metered parking sites in the City of Los Angeles for free? I looked all over the web including LA's parking site and could not find any info.

Re: LA Area Parking Still Free?
Here is the official LA Dept. of Transportation site - the program actually is extended to 12/07 (not just 6/07 as indicated in the link provided by Alloyz).....

I had no idea that I could park at meters for free. Thanks to the original poster for bringing this up.

Remember, its just the city of los angeles, not the county.
So I dont think hollywood, west hollywood, santa monica, lax area, etc count. |
Re: LA Area Parking Still Free?
I thought Hollywood was Los Angeles and not it's own city. Is this true?
So I guess if I park at Nike Town next to Rodeo I will have to feed the meter since this is Bevelry Hills? |

Re: LA Area Parking Still Free?
Try to catch a meter maid and ask them if its okay in that area.
The only way to get a real answer - as LA metro areas arent well defined, except for downtown. |
Re: LA Area Parking Still Free?
Hmm, that's a little confusing. I do live pretty close to downtown, so it will still come in handy when I want to visit certain places, like the museum.
