IMA Warranty Transferable to new owner?

I just bought a 2006 Civic Hybrid and am experiencing the regen problem I've read about a lot here. I have also read that the 2006 Civic Hybrid has a 150k mile/10 year warranty in Californai on the IMA system. I would like to know if this is, number 1 - true and number 2 - transferable to the 3rd owner of this car (me).

Thanks,
JD

Info on warranty for your car:

Did the previous owner have any sort of Honda Certified Used Car extended warranty, and did they leave the warranty booklet in the car when they sold it to you? According to this, there is a page in the booklet that you fill out and send to Honda to continue an extended warranty when a vehicle is sold from private owner to private owner (scroll down to the appropriate question in the list):

I'm not sure if you'd have to specifically do that to cover the IMA, or if you are covered anyway.
