Driving with IMA battery out of the car
 
Hi all!
I just bought the Civic and conditioning the battery which will go on for another few days.
I need to move the car and wonder if i start it without the IMA battery will i get a million codes or mess smth up in there without a load?

You'll get a million codes, but you can move it. I did that with an '02 Insight the other day. 12V will drain.

There is a switch behind the rear seat that disconnects the battery. With that in the off position the car drives just like any other under powered Civic.

Not true as stated. HCH1 will not charge the 12V battery if you do that. HCH2 will charge the 12V battery but only between about 1500 and 3500rpm.
