Deck Lid Spoiler
 

Please don't bash me for asking this question in the hybrid forum but I need some help with this.

It's about the deck lid spoiler available for the EX-L, dealer asking $525 installed, I really like this spoiler.
Without installation I think it is somewhere around $387 but saw a website price OEM for $283.

Has anyone done it (yourself/dealer), what's your experience and are you happy you got it installed or not installed???

I need to make a decision and call the dealer early today so it can be ready for tomorrow 11am pickup time....

Give me some feedback please....

there are people here complaining about the spoiler hurting the paint. This even happens with a factory setup and I would be even more careful with DIY job. uless a pro job is done the diff in cost may not warrant the real cost of a cheaper job.

Good thinking. You can always get it done later. Also guys, this is for a non-hybrid. I KNOW from personal experience about the poor execution of the special spoiler on the hybrid, but the regular Civic spoilers may be just fine (and may have no such paint issues).
