Cool little NAV System
I recently purchased the TomTom Navigator 5 GPS system for my Treo 650 phone and it is awesome! Very precise directions, a giant points of interest database, gives speed readings, distance and time to destination, even provides traffic alerts.
It's very cool. And it only cost $299! Plus you can take it out for walking, biking or from car to car. Do that with a Prius' nav system! |
Re: Cool little NAV System
TomTom makes some nice GPS software.
I dont care for it on the Treo because you are suppposed to turn off the phone portion while you are using it and teh screen is a little small for mounting it on your windshield. I bought a package that contained a Zire 72s that I solely use for the GPS device. It is fairly accurate, but works great for gettign to places I have never been before. Used it on vacation this year. Great addition for someone with an old HCH that envies the '06 nav system. |

Sounds nice. Is the screen big enough? TomTom has some sweet stuff.
I'm using the Zire 72 setup as well Turpin. |
