camber issue and mpg

Hey all

I had the camber repair done on my HCHII. I have noticed after my last fill up that my mileage as gone way up 45 ave to 55 over the same driving conditions. Before if I was able to hit 50 at all I was a happy camper. Now it seems to be much easier. I love my HCHII:D Could the alignment have been costing me that many mpgs? I hope it is not a one tank fluke!!!

ps I fill up at the same pump, and to the first click each time.

It's possible, but my MPG didn't increase after I had my arms replaced.

Re: camber issue and mpg

My alignment was out big time for, Thrust, caster, camber toe ect...I though it might be
from the weather change, but the next tank the temps when down to normal for the time of the year. Both tanks 550 miles and 575 never gotten over 50 mgs over the entire tank. If I even saw 50 mpgs on the trip b I was excited, even took a picture once.

The car drives and acts like a completely different car, for the better.

Cool.
Mine DOES drive better, and quieter, for sure. Just I didn't notice any MPG jump (and I was hoping for one!).

Re: camber issue and mpg

Well, I had the camber work done a couple of weeks ago, along with new tires, alignment, CVT fluid. Well, I'm down about 15% in FE since then. I suspect the big issue is the tires (Yokohama Avid H4S - seem super sticky). So I can't add anything about FE improvements after control arms.
