Replacing the Interior lights

Who has a service manual and can help me here? My lighting on the interior of the door and down around the shifter are slowly going out and I'm not sure how to fix them. I'm talking about on the buttons for the windows and heated seats if you have an idea what I mean. Is this an easy fix with a fuse or am I going to have to pop up the switches?

Well....this was waste of time to ask this question.

I have a service manual.
But I doubt that your problem is something to do with lights itself.
For some reason I don't get instant notifications from the forum about new threads and I don't visit it very often.

What do you mean? This going to be a difficult repair?
This forum is touch and go. Sometimes people will answer you and some won't.

Probably I misunderstood your description of the problem.
What did you mean exactly? Did those lights go out one after another?
If so then it's probably easy fix if you know how to pull them out.

I recommend you to search on driveaccord.net. This is pretty general topic.

Yeah, I just need to know how to get to them to them out. There on the center console and the driver side door on the arm rest controls.

Sorry lebloom, sometimes I don't get time to read all the forums.

Just to make sure it isn't something simpler...is it just those specific interior lights going out, or do you notice all your interior lights getting dimmer? Because if that's the case, there should be a dial somewhere on your dash that dims/brightens all the interior lights, and maybe it got turned down by mistake. This happened on my son's car. Drove me nuts for a day or two until I remembered the "dimmer" control.

No, they are going out altogether. The light potentiometer is turned all the way up. You know the lights that I'm talking about? The window controls to raise them up and down that are lit up and the switches there on the center console for the heated seat controls. Looks sorta difficult. Thanks

Re: Replacing the Interior lights

Okay, just wanted to make sure you checked out the potentiometer control.
Sorry, I only have a tech manual for the first-gen Civic hybrid so my car doesn't have the same lights your does, and no heated seat controls at all.

Have you tried looking at the diagrams provided on the online parts websites like Bernardi or Majestic Honda? Usually if you can find the parts system you require, there are some decent "blow-up" diagrams for each system. Maybe there is one for the door that would show the window controls and lights, or one for the center console.
