2017 Honda accord hybrid auto dimming rear mirror
 

I don't think my auto dimming mirror is working correctly. When cars headlights appear in the mirror at night there are white dashes the width of the head lights above and below to the edges of the mirror. In addition there is no green indicator light which indicates that the mirror is active. My experience with other cars and auto dimming rear mirrors is that at night the mirror is clear and there is a green indicator light. Returning the car to the dealer in the daylight was not successful, they checked it with a flashlight and said it was dimming. Subsequent conversation accomplished nothing. My trim level is EX-L, are there any owners with this trim level and do you have a green indicator light on your mirror?
