Where to get free air?
 

Sorta silly, but it seems everywhere I go to get air for my tires, they want my quarters... anyone know of places with free air in Orange County, CA? Thanks in advance!

Hey I know what you are saying is not the 50 cents but the principle behind it...

In YorbaLinda, on Yorbalinda of the 57 FWY near Albertsons. there is a 76 gas station and a chevron right across from it. Use the one on chevron, they are really nice I was actually told about these by the attendant. I went in to get quarters for the air machine and he told me not to worry about it that it was complementary to customers.

Any gas station where you get gas is required to give you free air if you are making a purchase.

Costco is another place where you can get free air or nitrogen.

We have a car wash that has a nifty compressor that you enter in the pressure you want and it fills the tire accordingly.

Does anyone else sense the irony here? We have a hybrid owner, doing what they can to make the air cleaner for everyone to breathe (despite their reason for buying), asking for [I]FREE AIR[I]. I just wonder if anyone else caught that?

If you ask nicely many will give you free air even if you don't buy gas.

All the guy has to do is reach under the counter and push a button.

I guess I really am my father's daughter. I've never gotten air at a service station before. I always air up my tires at home with a little plug-in compressor we have (it's not a plug-in type, but if I drove further afield I would probably have one in my vehicle.)

I can't remember how much it cost, and it of course does you no good if you have a long commute or live in an apartment complex where running a plug-in compressor out to your car would be a hassle-and-a-half.
