Can the seatbelt chimes be turned off?
Now I know I'm going to catch some flack about wearing seatbelts, and I do wear mine 99% of the time, but there are times when it might not be necessary to have it on for a certain period of time. Has anyone found a way to turn of the seatbelt chimes?

Re: Can the seatbelt chimes be turned off?
It can definitely be done and it is not difficult at all... but as you know, most folks with good sense would hesitate posting the directions on how to defeat a safety feature. There are several ways of doing it but as usual, some are better than others.
Instead, I do recommend that you purchase the HCH-2 service manual, then PM me and I'll point out the right pages and steps. Cheers; MSantos |

Yes it can be turned off.
Fasten the belts. (Heck, it may save your life too.) |

This is our question too. We make a few very short trips down our dead-end street that we do not need to be "reminded" at 5 mph that we do not have our seat belts on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)
