so what are you trying to say? sometime the more octane the less MPG?

ever since i bought the car almost 2 months ago ive put premium. reason because i feel i get more power and more MPG when i use premium with my other cars, 6.1 dodge magnum 460HP and my 95 civic ex sedan.

Exactly. For a car that's tuned for 87 octane, the more octane the less MPG, and the less power.

For a car that's tuned for 93 octane, the less octane the less MPG, and the less power.

Read your owner's manual to determine the octane requirements of your particular vehicle...

i have a 07 civic hybrid. and im at 3 squares right now so when ever i refuel ill add the regular "87" is it? im adding a K&N air filter in the air box on wednesday you think that will help? right now i average out 35-40 MPG.
