07 Civic Hybrid Autostop Issue at 7 Bar Charge
I am finding that as I have worked harder on my hypermiling in my 2007 Civic Hybrid, I am staying consistently at about 7 bars of battery charge. I haven't noticed a recal in over a week. However, I also notice that at Auto 70 degree A/C on, and running with the engine warmed up fully, the Autostop feature is cutting off after I've sat at a red light for a short period of time, and often may not come on at all. This is strange to me, since I know that with the battery only having 3 or 4 bars of charge, I was getting consistent Autostops at every stop I made. What else could cause the Autostop to restart the engine after only a few seconds at a red light? Is the battery not getting proper cooling? Wouldn't cooling issues cause the IMA light to come on? I really don't want to complain about the 7 bars of charge, since I often get much better MPG with the charge that good.

Re: 07 Civic Hybrid Autostop Issue at 7 Bar Charge
The only time I've experienced that is when the engine has cooled down enough for Auto Stop to disengage. This is between 150F to 160F. If you have a SGII you can see the temp drop whenever it's in auto stop or in a Glide.
