PCV valve

Anybody know where it is and how to change it?

Mechanic told me it was buried up in the engine and wouldn't go near it.

Same thing happened to me on my 2008 today. My mechanic declined the job.

Is it that critical? I have only used Mobile 1 green or gold cap since the car left space dock.
