HCH I a ULEV or SULEV, what's the diff?

I have an 04 HCH with a window sticker that says it's a ULEV vehicle. My city exempts SULEV vehicles from the emissions testing requirement. Does the HCH I qualify as a SULEV, or is that a different spec?

It's a different spec:

Um yeah, I guess they are different, a pretty significant difference. 50% vs 90% less emissions than the average car. Interesting.

My car doesn't have stickers, but I know it's a ULEV... anyone know if I can buy these stickers somewhere?

I found out today that now ANY hybrid car is exempt from emissions testing, it is not limited to SULEV vehicles. I wasted an entire afternoon figuring that out. Funny thing is, I still have to go to the testing station to verify the exemption, so it saves me absolutely no hassle, just the twenty bucks. Whatever.

That's rediculous. At least you didn't have to pay the $20. (btw the cheapest one in my area is about $50, and that guy drove my car with the emergency brake on)

To make matters worse, there's only one testing station that approves hybrids, and its downtown. Not convenient at all. There are like 20 other stations within a mile of my house, I almost would have rather just paid the 20 bucks and went to a convenient one. At least it's a permanent exemption so I don't have to keep doing it every year. But I wouldn't put it past them to "fix" that too.
