Automotive error code reader?

Greetings,

With the complication of the HCH one really needs an automotive error code reader and a PDF of Honda error codes to keep these babies running.

Any recommendations on an automotive error code reader and where to purchase?

Where can one get a list of 2004 HCH codes and associated explanations?

The service manual has lists for the codes and what they refer to.
