Strange sounds GMC Yukon Hybrid 2009

I have a 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid 4X4 with 4300 miles. It recently started making a strange noise while accelerating and braking. The noise is a combination of a thump and a whirring sound. I know the normal sounds that hybrids make and this isn't one of them. The dealership can't find anything but I'm sure something is wrong. Has anyone experienced this problem?

check out Tahoe Hybrid driveline noise thread, maybe it is the same noise or issue?
