Software update???
 

I thought I read somewhere that there was a software update available at the dealer. I'm bringing the truck in for an oil change next week and wanted them to do this update if it was available. The receptionist thought I was nuts when I told her, but I didn't get to talk to a tech.

If anyone is familiar with this, is there a TSB on it, or any better info I can provide then a "software update?"

I had my oil changed last friday.....
 

....my dealer is very good and they didn't mention anything to me. there was one in early 2009 however.

I changed the oil last week, I know the tech guy, so he hooked it up, and found 8 different software upgrades on my 2010 Tahoe.
just to mention a few, Tansmission, rear sensors, Climate control (now the center control shows the outside temp ), onstar, and few others(can't remember the rest he mentioned)
I didn't notice any chanbge in driving or anythign other than the outside temperature in the middle of the climate control display.

but they usually don't check for upgrades unless youhave an issue.Thats what they told me, but I managed to have them check mine :)
