Escalade hybrid front shocks
1 Attachment(s)
I just replaced my escalade hybrid front shock with Oem from the dealer. It used to be front shocks made by Delphi which came originally since I bought it new and at 80k miles replaced it with another Delphi with part number: 20810270. That part finally gave way and had it replaced in the dealership with OEM MRC front shocks at 164k miles with an updated part number: 19300066. This time I noticed that the Delphi brand is not there anymore instead it is made BWI from BWIgroup.com which bought Delphi. I check a 2015 escalade and the front improved shock has the BWI brand on it. BWI stands for BeijingWest industries.

Re: Escalade hybrid front shocks
That just reminded me. My 2001 K2500 Suburban Auto Ride shocks need to be replaced.
~ $300 each. Ouch! |
Mine is $415.00 a piece. The local MI dealer rounded it to $1k even including alignment and labor and taxes. Not bad.

Re: Escalade hybrid front shocks
Those MR ones are pricey.

And they are the only manufacturer that's why they can price it that way.

Re: Escalade hybrid front shocks
The few companies licensed to do MR technology hold on to it real good.
