Does anyone want a 2008 hybrid Yukon for parts?
The gas engine needs to be replaced, but the car has over 200k miles on it and it just isn't worth it to me. I replaced the hybrid battery 1.5 years ago and the battery has a 10year 100k mile warranty. I don't have the resources (time/tools) to part the car out myself. I'm looking for someone who wants to haul off the whole car for more than the junkyard offered me.
The tires still have life. I recently replaced many parts in the front end. The body and interior are in good condition. White with tan interior. Free and clear title. I'm located near Baltimore, MD. Any ideas?

Re: Does anyone want a 2008 hybrid Yukon for parts?
I called the local GMC dealership and they had no interest, particularly since I didn't need to buy anything. The hybrid model gas engine is not the same as the gas only model. My brother is in parts and the cheapest new engine was 3500. I might list on Craigslist if someone else wants to play with it and put in a new/used engine. I just don't really care to deal with those people.

The hybrid engine is different in many ways. Too many to "convert" another.
The 40 HV battery modules sell for $35 each on Ebay. So that 1.5 year-old battery is worth over $1000 on its own.
Parted out that vehicle is worth over $4000 even if the body is shot.
The transmission was built at the White Marsh Allison plant near you. Some of the people there know these things. Maybe somebody there would buy it and fix it.
Maybe you already stated this but 2WD or 4WD?
When I get home from vacation... I will ask a neighbor if he is willing to pay you a reasonable price for it.
He fixes lots of wrecks. Those wrecks have "salvage" titles and are not worth as much. This is not a "wreck" . An engine swap is an all day job but not impossible.
